About the Conference

Southeast Asia Workshop on Aerospace Engineering (SAWAE) is an international workshop organized annually by Southeast Asia Network on Aerospace Engineering (SANAE) and aims to address current researches and developments in the fields of aerospace engineering and aviation, exchange knowledge and experience among the participants, and provide opportunities for further research and academic collaboration.

It is our great pleasure to invite professors, researchers, scientists and students to the 8th edition of the Southeast Asia Workshop on Aerospace Engineering, which will be held and hosted in Malaysia on 28th - 30th August 2024. The 8th SAWAE will include variety of keynote and oral presentation sessions related to aerospace engineering and aviation.

Please use the provided paper template for your submission. You can prepare your paper submission according to your intended type of publication. For SAWAE 2024,
THREE different publication options are available. Note that each publication option corresponds to different conference fees.

It is advisable that each paper submission to have at least 6 pages. This helps to ensure that adequate content and quality level for the publication.

Note that, although you can choose the type of publication during submission, the final type of publication proposed for each paper will also depend on the results of the
peer-review process and also requirements of the journal . The authors will be notified of the decision after the review process of their paper submission is completed.
For submission to the Scopus-indexed Journal of Aeronautics, Astronautics and Aviation (JoAAA), note that the paper's final acceptance will also be subjected to the review
process by the journal, in addition to the initial review by the conference's panel of reviewers. Unsuccessful paper submissions are alternatively invited
to be published in AEROS Proceedings.

Due to the long expected review process, all participants interested to submit and publish in the Scopus-indexed Journal of Aeronautics, Astronautics and Aviation (JoAAA) are encouraged to submit their papers as early as possible. The review process of each paper submission will start once the submission is received by the conference committee.

All paper submissions should be first made to our online submission platform in the link below. You need to register first before making your paper submission. For submission to
AEROS Proceedings, please select the section "SAWAE2024 AEROS Proceedings". On the other hand, for submission to Scopus-indexed Lecture Notes Proceedings and Journal of
Aeronautics, Astronautics and Aviation (JoAAA) publication, please select the section "SAWAE2024 LECTURE NOTES PROCEEDINGS" and "SAWAE2024 JOAAA", respectively.
